Astor Service's Executive Director James McGuirk was interviewed on WWRL Radio's program "All Things New York" on Saturday, August 1, 2010. The program focused on the question of how Astor Services is dealing with the current difficult financial situation.

Rennie Bishop serves as the radio station's Program Director. He joined the WWRL family after a phenomenally successful radio career in Trinidad and Tobago. This award winning personality, prior to New York, did radio shows throughout the Caribbean and England. Since 1975 Rennie Bishop was making broadcasting history in his home country as a radio researcher, operator and radio personality. It was as a Radio Personality / DJ "Rennie B" was to surpass all expectations and records. For 14 years he hosted the most successful radio show in revenue and popularity, an achievement unrivaled to date while simultaneously revolutionizing the industry's format and direction. In New York he served as a popular weekend personality at WLIB 1190 AM and WNWK FM, both achieving the highest (Arbitron) rating for the time period in Caribbean programming. Bishop has been the recipient of numerous commendations for his community commitment. After certification as an Internet technology specialist and a three year hiatus Rennie returned to radio, joining WWRL in 1999 and in 2000 took the reins as Program Director.
