Job Description:

The Evening Administrative Assistant serves as a receptionist for the program to receive phone calls, clients, and visitors. They will prepare intake packets for prospective clients, collect client co-pays, enter data into billing software program, and schedule psychiatrists appointments and hospital discharges. The Evening Administrative Assistant maintains office supplies and machines and maintains data such as admissions and terminations and other reports. They will complete med requests and other record requests and assist in processing progress notes for client’s records. The Evening Administrative Assistant assists in pulling needed charts, files charts and paperwork as needed and assists supervisors, therapists and doctors, as needed, through emails in a timely manner. They will be responsible for keeping track of closed charts, logging them and sending them offsite. Although the primary location will be New Paltz, the Evening Administrative Assistant must be flexible and willing to cover other locations in the Hudson Valley.

Job Benefits:

Part time employees who work at least 20 hours per week earn a prorated vacation consistent with the schedules notes below.  The rate of vacation accrual for all part-time positions is factored by the Human Resources Office based upon the specific number of regular hours as noted on the approved change of status.

  • 4 weeks paid vacation annually (on 40 hr/week basis, prorated as above);
  • 12 paid holidays;
  • 3 sick days per year.
