Education Requirements:

Candidate must have certification by New York State as either an LMSW or LCSW.

Experience Requirements:

Experience with population served is preferred. Bilingual preferred.

Job Description:

CEU’s provided by Astor at no expense to the employee.

The SYNC Program provides clinical wraparound services to children and adolescents in their schools, homes, and/or communities (i.e. afterschool programs, summer camps, etc). The SYNC Program contracts services to schools and is available to individuals who are Medicaid eligible. The Licensed Practitioner/Clinician will be responsible for completing assessments, and providing individual, group, and family therapy to identified clients. In addition, the Licensed Practitioner will collaborate with the NYC Department of Education personnel and families to develop treatment plans. They will provide coordinate with an array of service providers to ensure the client is able to achieve identified goals in order to stay in the least restrictive educational and home environment.
