⚾️ As a proud Community Partner of New York Boulders for the 2026 season, Astor is excited to be out in the community connecting with families and sharing information about the behavioral health and educational services we offer to help children, adults, and families in all communities.

Our team, including CEO Yvette Bairan and staff from our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Home-Based Crisis Intervention (HBCI) were on hand to discuss the behavioral health supports available through Astor and answer questions about our programs.

Thank you, Lucky Orphans Horse Rescue, for partnering with Astor Services and giving young adults the opportunity to build self confidence, and connect with other and nature.Today is an Astor Services program day at Hudson Valley Horse Park. This is structured Equine Assisted Development—not a tour and not therapeutic riding. Participants work from the ground through carefully facilitated activities designed to support communication, self-awareness, emotional regulation and relationship-building.

We protect participant privacy, so the most important moments may never appear in a photograph. What we can share is this:

The horses invite people to notice, adjust and try again in real time. One participant said: "I learned that if I'm shy I won't get chosen and to look past what I see."
