Astor’s Head Start staff were invited to participate at the Sheafe Road Elementary School’s Wellness Event. Staff arrived with smiles and engaged the children and parents, and shared information about Astor’s Head Start program and all that Astor offers. Children were treated to playdough and educated on how important it is to take a break from their phones or gaming devices. We explained that during those breaks they could use the playdough to relax the muscles in their hands and de-stress. Ms. Danielle said it best – playdough is the original fidget toy and has so many benefits! It was a great event, and we appreciate the invite from Sheafe Road Elementary School. ... See MoreSee Less
